The game works pretty well on a Sega Saturn controller. bsky.app/profile/chri...

The best controller I think have for this is my RetroBit Saturn pad, and it's working ok for this. Really, I should be looking for a pad that has 4 face buttons in a row.

Looks like a really cool concept! If switching lanes now makes different but working tracks I am really impressed. Sound is something magical for me, I just can't get my head around it 😀

each track is an instrument part, and playing a phrase correctly activates that part! it's very fun

Pulling in outside musicians for Beat Weaver's soundtrack instead of one composer is a bold call. Did it make syncing levels to the beat harder, or easier since each track has its own identity?

Choosing which songs work great with the gameplay is the hard part. They should always bring something unique to the table, a different song structure, rhythm, instrument configuration. It all affects the game. But once the choice is made it works the same way as the songs I composed myself.

Congratulations, this looks so sick!!! XD After seeing it be an actual playable demo after all this time is incredible dude. I still remember the early development days of this game :)
