I've run two sessions of The Wildsea TTRPG and I have really enjoyed the system. (To be fair, I need to I refresh myself on the rules so I've been playing very fast and loose.) I've hardly had to do any crunchy GM prep, just kind of think about the factions involved and what they're up to.

(To be fair I'm doing this as a very short series of adventures.) But it's right up there with Cypher for me in terms of ease of prep. Rolls are sort of a word-association dice pool system, where you pick the Edge and Skill you want to use for your approach.

It's a bit weird at first--I felt like I was cheating as a player because I sometimes stretched to use a high-ranked skill. But because you're outlining your approach each time (even in attacks, and you generally don't have very specific weapons/attacks),

I find it breaks you out of the "I attack X with my Y" box. As a GM I find it helpse me ask "what are you doing when you attack them?" That opens up to more descriptive action that takes the world around you into account.
