Maybe GSFTW is that desperate to find anyone. Their GOH with his own Furry Raiders scandal is NIICdog. (I think he already appeared in this thread, but there's been more recent discourse about it.)

From 2021, this was NIIC partnering with nazifurs, then apologizing after it backfired. Notice that NIIC doesn't specify who invited him or condemn them directly. He generically talks about sticking to his beliefs. Which isn't consistent with accepting a tainted invite from GSFTW now.

Looking back, NIIC didn't apologize right away after going on the Furry Raiders podcast. His first response was a weak excuse. Like Dashing and GSFTW did about the Raiders for 4 years. It was never a hard judgement call, so why extend even more trust?

This weak sketchy quality is in common with those still running and supporting GSFTW, including the manipulative liar running their PR and suppressing all criticism inside.

Look how Sotalo uses greasy plastic charm with NIIC. This is crony clique stuff, schmoozing up to suppress criticism while dismissing public interest.

The feedback comments are secondhand scuttlebutt, but look at MaxGoof's own words. He's not beating the allegations.

GSFTW has a habit of staffing people other cons don't want. Why waste money on this now? Especially when multiple other events were started by the New Jersey community to take it back from interlopers with bad agendas. Pick better: @furgeddaboutit.org @psfurmeets.bsky.social

MAGAs attack furries as a scapegoat to revoke queer rights. Today they're trying to make it illegal for children to act vaguely furry. ICE surveils furry sites for the government. Gay Republicans are outed and trashed by those they serve. And GSFTW let Nazis in who betray you to serve this hate.

I noticed something funny. Recall that this thread was sparked off by GSFTW favoring nazifurs like Astral who had been banned, then were inexplicably welcomed back without comment. After FAFO kicked in with public protest, they tried damage control. Now see what they omitted, in Astral's own words.
