Let us know how you are doing. I have been through it four times. It is hard and it typically gets worse as treatment goes on but you can get through it and it will get better- I will be sending you positive energy!

You’re a warrior. Thanks for the heads up about the symptoms intensifying. Hopefully, I’ll be able to manage. The nausea is pretty bad ngl. I appreciate the support.

I lived on Cheerios for both rounds of firstline chemo (4/5 years apart) & then someone who'd done chemo suggested chips & sure enough I could eat that. I think it mostly depends what you can tolerate food-wise. Not the healthiest of foods, but my oncs thought it preferable to not eating at all.

Good luck from across the pond... my mind is still blown that if you can't afford health insurance and get cancer over there then to all intents and purpose, you're done for. The richest country in the world... and yet somehow the poorest too. Hope it won't bankrupt you & you can focus on recovery

I’m just thankful to have access to the facilities and treatments I’m receiving. I’m privileged in that regard. My mind is constantly on those who are less privileged in the US, due to financial reasons, as well as the people of Gaza who have zero access to treatment because of the Israeli genocide

I’m so glad you’re doing well! I had surgery a little over a month ago and they removed quite a bit of my pancreas and a few other things. I appreciate the support and I’m sending you all the good vibes. We got this. 🤙🏽

You rule, David! You’re a warrior. I appreciate the advice and support and I am wishing you a healthy, happy, and cancer-free journey from here on out. Much love. 🙏🏽

Best of luck. Think about: Anti-depressants, laxatives or something like MiraLAX, Anbesol (for mouth sores) and hats (in case you lose your hair). It is a hard journey, so stay strong. You can do it!

Whatever you do don't lie down for at least 30 minutes to an hour after chemo....take a walk...you can stroll or go faster...you will feel so much better...if you lie down more likely to feel bad...this multiple people and types of chemo experience...good luck...

Best wishes. I've just gone through the indicated four sessions. I now have the same hairstyle as Gollum and some of my jeans don't really fit right now, but I feel pretty much OK and I'm sure that it helped reduce the cancer which will be removed in a few weeks.

I’m pulling for you, Michael. May the treatment you receive be curative and may your jeans henceforth fit like you have your own personal tailor. Thank you for the well-wishes. Also, Gollum is adorable so don’t fret, friend. 🙏🏽

You’ve got this. And you don’t have to be strong all the damn time. Remember and tell yourself that YOU are NOT the disease. You are many things plus a disease but it IS NOT YOU. Respect.

God bless. More than ever i hear people say that they got through chemo and soon after picked up again. (At least true of my wife) You got this.
