There are valid criticisms about this move, just FYI ->

I stopped using chrome a 8 or 9 years ago so this is a non-issue for me. But I think the people involved in making this have serious ethical deficiencies. And no amount of pride posting in june or black squares on instragram is gonna fix that.

Downloading 4 gb model without asking user was bad thing. Also if user can choose, then build in a way that can support more models (llama etc)
