A lot of folks keep defending the transphobic Dems by saying something like "they don't really mean it. They won't really vote to hurt trans people." Those people are fools. can they not see that the words those Dems are using are already doing active harm? Win or lose, they've done real damage

if dems learn that abandoning trans people is a winning position, what motivation would they ever have to support us again? It would be accepting a rolling back of our rights for decades to come. if this country doesn’t want to support equal rights then it deserves to be destroyed

if they dont want this country to fall to fascism, they need to stop surrendering to hateful politicians. ill never vote against my own rights. they will learn no one is owed a vote. they just assume they will get ours while pandering to conservatives that will never support them. its fuckin stupid
