This was always the folly of Rutte's PURL program, in which Europeans act as a middleman buying US weapons and sending them to Ukraine (to make up for the US not sending them aid any more). Europeans paid for these weapons. The US isn't delivering them.

I really don't like Trump and Hegseth not sending arms that are paid for. If they're not going to send them then send Europe's money back to them.

Rutte and NATO leadership should report to the European Parliament and that of each European NATO member, to clarify, apologize and resign.

It‘s time to realise the US is no longer a reliable partner, nor can we trust that when Trump gets sacked, everything will be back to normal. European political establishment should find its spine and draw its conclusions now, before the dictators of the world walk all over us.
