I agree with you @davekeating.substack.com but I lost hope that we will only have to sit it out this year. Without change at @ebu.ch HQ and how they go about the voting rules, the Israeli broadcaster will continue to hijack the contest. Just look at the numbers: www.nytimes.com/2026/05/11/w...

Ireland and a few countries are boycotting it. Ireland will broadcast the Father Ted Eurovision episode instead 👇

It's all sad. I've always enjoyed your posts and coverage explaining everything almost as much as the show itself.

In Spain they banned the Eurovision Song Contest and I am exceeding happy about that decision. Good on you Spain!

What comes to mind when someone says #Eurovision: youtu.be/GOffk1G6OX8?...

Last year it was first year I actually watched Eurovision… it was fun. But while Israel continues extermination of Palestine and Lebanon I refuse to participate in anything where Israel is one of participants.

So Israel will win the popular vote yet again as it has for a couple years now. The vast majority of Europeans speak every single year

No to 🇮🇱 in Eurovision - or international sports competitions.

Eurovision has become a travesty. Who wants to sit through a bunch of genocidal Nazis whining about how poor they are because they have to slaughter everyone around them who's not part of their Master Race? Eurovision used to be about bringing people together, now it's about artwashing genocide

I agree. I got a good book to read. 👍🤓
