This chimes with what I've been hearing. “Our negotiators had never seen this before in any international talks. People being summoned to the U.S. Embassy in London — intimidation, threats of cessation of business, threats of family members losing visas."

This is how all our institutions are failing. Corrupting politicians and/or pressuring them through threats & intimidation And our representatives are failing us by not exposing this!!! Save our democracies!!! Shine a light on on these tactics!!! Go public!!!

The US is transitioning to an authoritarian system of government. I highly doubt there is going to be a free and fair election in 2028, that is not the direction the country is going in. But perhaps a future authoritarian government will be interesting in fighting climate change.
