My realization recently was “Am I just writing articles that an LLM is going to read to learn how to do something” 🫩. I guess in a round about way it’s still helping the person out, and that’s the goal. But feels like something is lost

it takes effort to read something so I want to read things that have had thought put into them with llms it's possible (though not inevitable!) to create writing without adequate thought so when people use llm-generated text it makes it very difficult to tell

it is incredibly stupid to generate blog posts with llms anyone can output the same thing with the same prompts. If they’re interested in reading that, let them write the prompts. if it’s a writing skill issue on your end… failing at writing is how you get better at writing.
