It's not just about the wins. Today I got rejected for a junior dev position, but it only fuels my motivation more. Goal to build my first SaaS app just got stronger. 💪

Plus, having the security of a job while building my business on the side helps cover the downside like cover rent etc.

Thank you Saad. For me, I’m looking for a software dev job because I believe being in a team with senior developers will help me learn faster and write better code. It’s the best way to build a strong foundation, and eventually, create a high-quality SaaS app.

We're hearing that junior devs are 4X more productive using Cursor, Copilot, and the like. That could be shrinking supply of those jobs?? Definitely want to be expert on those tools.

Of course Russ. But for me as junior dev relying on AI tools won’t make me a better programmer. True growth comes from understanding the fundamentals, solving problems, and learning by doing - without shortcuts.
