Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.

Thirty years of screaming about Soros as the shadowy puppet master, and their own guy laps him out in the open in two years flat. Turns out they never hated money in politics. They just hated that it was not all theirs.

Assuming these numbers are correct (I imagine they are), it does ignore that Soros contributes to advocacy / policy think tanks. Those are designed to influence policy / elections, but in an attenuated way. (I'd also argue it's a "better way", regardless of anyone's opinions on those entities.) +

Which is why it mostly made sense to compare the Soros' and Koch's of the world, because they were ~ playing the same game. Those Musk numbers are crazy!

Every accusation is a confession. Every made up reason you see the fascists get enraged by is one leak away from being made public about them. From Soros’ meddling to QAnon, and every conspiracy theory in between, it’s always the fascists accusing others that of which the fascists are guilty of.
