Finally a Python packaging tool that delivers on the speed promise instead of just making everything more complicated. Looking at you, poetry.

Huge congrats!! My coworkers think I am secretly getting paid by you lot to move everything over to `uv` 🤣

I'm late for answering, But uv is incredible. I rarely saw a product becoming spread like that so quickly. it's a sign it's an awesome product, congratulations !

Yes, congrats and thanks! And this is a good article: www.bitecode.dev/p/a-year-of-...

Looking forward to the full rye uv convergence. Thanks for building the project

already one year 😮 What a revolution it has been 🎉

That’s amazing. Such a short amount of time! I love using uv, especially for scripts. The only thing holding me back from migrating everything is the lack of dependabot support. @github.com have it on the roadmap. github.com/dependabot/d...

Congrats on your world domination. Python packaging used to be a mess. It's gotten much better with various frameworks over the years, but uv is really an impressive step forward.

I lost all hope for pip prior to uv, cant believe its *only* a year worth of work

Can confirm. Am evangelist.

Hahah thank you 🙇‍♂️

uv and @simonwillison.net got me back to Python. thanks!

Congratulations! I really appreciate how hard all the team at Astral works responding to all the issues that get spammed at uv. You've massively changed and improved the Python packaging / environment ecosystem.

That is more complicated! I don’t really know how to solve that, maybe through a make / just file

uv is significant improvement, thank you!

Congratulations!

With how frequently I’ve seen it being used lately, it’s hard to believe it’s only one year old! Congratulations!
