Very cool man! I love seeing PWAs still being made, very underrated technology imo. If I ever made a tool like this, I'd also PWA the crap out of it 😂

Yes, Apple makes that hard sometimes, but in this case it actually works in safari! 😍

tejaswigowda.comffmpeg webCLIA progressive web app for video editing with ffmpeg.wasm. 100% local processing, no data leaves your browser.

Mediabunny worked flawless in it!!! I tried this ffmpeg-wasm first: tejaswigowda.com/ffmpeg-webCLI/ But: - it has to load a 31 Mb wasm - is slooooow to convert my 35 sek video (around 10 to 20 minutes on iPhone 13 Pro, if I recall correctly) - the download button does not work in safari

Esp. The download button failure was a dealbreaker: what use is a converter in the browser that can write my converted file into browser memory and not into my gallery?!? 😄😂 So I vibed a solution with a „share“ button with native ios share sheed alongside the download button. And it’s great! 😍

Mediabunny takes under 10 seconds to transcode the file, The download works and it’s completely local. Thank you for this library and feel free to use this a as „norm scientifc case study“ on your website, if you want 😂👍

Ah and: obvsly I want to extend this into a medium to full Video transcoding app, so stay tuned für future versions. 🤩
