Trump is so focused on Canada b/c he made a HUGE mistake in USMCA. In NAFTA, there was proportionality clause on energy-Canada had to send a specific proportion of their energy to the US. The energy section was removed in USMCA. Canada was now free to send energy to rest of world. What a deal-maker!
