I only know of two of these, and only 1 worker - this one. Awesome stuff!

For the first time in 7 years, I have booted the CPT Phoenix Jr. A couple hours of experimentation and investigation with a Greaseweazle last night finally allowed me to recover the only known copy of its software! #VintageComputing #RetroComputing

I got this 7 years ago. It came with 2 disks. The User Utilities which can only be used to copy documents or format new disks. The other was the Word Processing software. I only got it to boot the Word Processing disk once. Finally figured out how to properly read & write the flux image last night.

I’ve viewed your CPT page many times since I got this machine in 2019 and I’ve communicated with several of those former CPT employees. The company was headquartered just a few miles from where I live just west of Minneapolis.

It's always good to be able to keep memories of this stuff alive. There must be loads of garages and lofts containing documentation about these machines but so far not much has surfaced apart from what people can remember. Hope my pages have been of use!

I have two binders of documentation for the Phoenix JR that I plan on scanning. It’s just for the Word Processing software, no technical details, sadly.

I was chatting regularly with one of my page contributors for a long while as he was digging his 8000 series parts/disks/books out. He was going to send me disk images of his collection but everything went quiet a year last June so I hope he's just too busy.
