I only know of two of these, and only 1 worker - this one. Awesome stuff!

For the first time in 7 years, I have booted the CPT Phoenix Jr. A couple hours of experimentation and investigation with a Greaseweazle last night finally allowed me to recover the only known copy of its software! #VintageComputing #RetroComputing

I got this 7 years ago. It came with 2 disks. The User Utilities which can only be used to copy documents or format new disks. The other was the Word Processing software. I only got it to boot the Word Processing disk once. Finally figured out how to properly read & write the flux image last night.

I hope you did the same dance I did when I got my 8520 booting over xmas 2024 😁 Awesome work. Also, did you get it from Sweden?

Not quite Sweden but there are plenty of Scandinavians here in Minnesota. Heh. I picked it up in Duluth.

I always get Minnesota and Minneapolis mixed up. I'm slowly documenting the history of CPT through emails from ex-staffers. binarydinosaurs.co.uk/Museum/cpt

I’ve viewed your CPT page many times since I got this machine in 2019 and I’ve communicated with several of those former CPT employees. The company was headquartered just a few miles from where I live just west of Minneapolis.
