I hate so much that buttonless trackpads are the norm give me my 2 buttons back they're so much easier to use

I can do worse. I've got an old Apple wireless track pad where the buttons are on the bottom. The whole device just clicks downward. If the table surface is soft in any way like your lap or whatever it just doesn't work.

ohhh reminds me of the mouse ones that are all clear plastic n stuff lol I remember using those in middle school there being a track pad version of that sounds like insanity

While we’re at it, give me back some buttons on my phone too. These gesture controls feel like you need a masters degree to use them.

some are completely haptic now but they still work very well (often better!) usually the whole touchpad is left click and bottom right corner is right click or u can touch tap ofc.. but the corner really helps with drag clicking i take the larger surface area tradeoff happily

i like that i can tap anywhere on apple's force touch trackpads and feel the click, it's really nice

i got a keyboard with a touchpad attached recently and its literally the worst of both. instead of being a giant button you can press anywhere, it's the two button setup that you have to press in the corners but because it's still all a touchpad i can't just use those parts as buttons either
