Ah, it's once again "blocking asshole American centrists who think compromising on trans rights is an acceptable political position" season.

What exactly is an American centrist?

I mean it's a vague catch-all for purportedly middle-of-the road voters who insist that they are neither right nor left wing so best case they have no convictions and worst case they don't want to admit out loud that their politics are awful.

I get that but I don't see either party down there as anywhere near the left.
