What a punchy extremely touching short story 😭😭😭😭😭😭
please I need more doodles of them I love them (but totally understand that the story is left as is, I just enjoy their characters a lot and the potential for interactions)
Thank you so much for creating and sharing 💖💖💖
I am someone that would rather move on, than try to bring back what is gone
If this suddenly happened, I don't know what I would feel
Would I feel peace that they are back? Or would I dread it?
All I know is that reading this made me feel a bit uncomfortable
The idea of just being able to get whatever, whenever I want to ve happy doesn't appeal to me, it's actually something that scares me
There is something I like about sadness, anger, and loss.
In a way, it makes happiness more special
I appreciate this. Every time I see this trope, it always ends up badly. But a happy ending with it? This is so damn original, and it made me cry. Well done!
I know that TECHNICALLY it's healthier to move on, but that works here and now, where such possibilities aren't available.
So I don't know
what the psychological repercussions would be, and if I, in such a situation, would have the strength to move on.
Maybe I'd just do the same as in your comic.
After all, how is it different than someone loving their memories? Is it a "ship of Theseus" thing?
It can also be a chance to fall in love all over again, and I think that perspective is very sweet.
What a very sweet story with a dystopian setting. You conveyed a simple relationship into something much more emotionally complex and even raise ethical questions into the equation. Great work - I hope more people see your work!
I thought it was clear enough that Mel was entirely consumed by grief and only able to focus on her own regrets, the second to last page with all of the photos on the wall made her true feelings pretty clear.
Grief is the final most powerful form that love takes after all.
Great read, thank you so much for bringing more yuri into the world 07.
I relate a lot to Mel with the anger issues and fear I am becoming like my father so it was very moving for me. Usually you see that discussed in a father/son dynamic and not father/daughter so it was nice to feel seen.
not sure how this is "sweet", mc doesn't find peace, doesn't move on, and is practically stuck with a skinwalker. also the last panel just feels sinister
you gotta love short stories like this. It's morally-ambiguous, but it ends with things at least the viewer knowing that there's a little redemption for them. Bleak setting though.
