It also sounds like at least some of them thought the cameras wouldn't matter because they were assuming that a couple of public executions would cause all of the resistance to run and hide.

i think a disturbing large portion of them believe "Antifa" is some kind of cellular guerrilla group like the Montoneros or the Algerian FLN. it's been a kind of meme or talking point since the Seattle G6 protests on gingrich-era talk radio. they think (((university professors))) are involved.

This came out of that big NYT article interviewing like 40+ FBI people about Kash Patel the one guy who was like "I tried to explain that 'Antifa' wasn't an organization, it was an ideology, and their protests were 1A protected, and then they fired me"
