Why is everything separate except for my login? I already follow people so having a separate app that knows who I follow and doesn’t care about that is odd.

There was feedback that users wanted to be able to follow separate people than they did on bluesky. We are working on adding an import feature.

pretty sure the point of atproto is to have a social graph you own and can migrate, not a social graph that is across all apps the people I follow on here are not the people I'd follow on tiktok, and it'd be annoying if I was forced into that (which luckily I'm not)

i think it’s a really difficult choice to tap into bsky’s social graph vs roll your own. for one you already have a lot of connections but for two you have to preload everything on

We're fully built into atproto. All records write directly to your repo. We're working on adding more Bluesky integration but we've received feedback in the past that people want the ability to follow people on Spark and not on Bluesky.

I’d be interested in trying it out if it came “preloaded” with my current Bluesky followees or there was an easy way for me to import them.

Y’all had this at one point too iirc. I was able to easily follow just the people I wanted from my bsky follow graph. Assume that feature got lost or removed in some rewrite or smth?
