Next.js, Nuxt and now Svelte. While I’m not a big fan of conspiracy theories and I understand that different teams maintain these frameworks, I feel that it’s Vercel that is making the web inaccessible.

you're right, we were all brought into a meeting recently and ordered to do this 🙄 nothing changed recently except your browser settings — it was caused by eagerly accessing localStorage, which is a common pattern for implementing light/dark themes without FOUC. should be fixed now

Out of curiosity, how do you use sites that require authentication via cookies? I'm guessing you have cookies disabled by default and opt in when necessary, but I'm not sure. Of course, documentation sites or business sites shouldn't crash when cookies are disabled.

I do one of these: - Adding sites to exceptions to allow cookies (mainly for GitHub) - Using a different Firefox profile with cookies enabled (mainly for Google and other services) - Using Chrome (mainly for online banking)

I used to disable JavaScript as well, but I gave up 😁Still, browsing history and favicons are also disabled in my default Firefox profile.

As far as I'm aware there aren't any cookies being set unless you login to the playground - for me on Firefox if i disable cookies it also seems to break local storage which the site is using
