I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.

I get the rhetorical bind that Brad Lander is in as a politician. But if you have all this righteous anger about Israeli settlers (as you should), but you “grieve” the military occupiers and call people criminals for resisting their occupation, people are going to understandably get mad at you

And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
