All these Dem attacks on DSA and other left-leaning orgs are happening because socialism is getting more popular and it terrifies the rich. They know their power depends on people believing in their empty promises, and they’d rather attack us instead of fighting for anything good

I'm 71 years old. I don't want the status quo to be preserved. I don't want the same tired promises that never come to fruition. I want young people with new ideas that are willing to take risks and aren't tied to the past or to big donors. Dems need to embrace the future not cling to the past.

Most of the things the DSA wants are programs and policies created by the New Deal and the Civil Rights Movement. In as much as Conservatives want to preserve or restore the past… DSA is more conservative than the establishment Democrats. We have to fight for what our parents once had.
