if you're using the `interestfor` attribute anywhere, you should know that a bunch of googlers just vandalised your site it looks _atrocious_. leaving aside the merits of the accessibility discussion (github.com/w3c/csswg-dr...), am flabbergasted that it shipped in this state. unbelievably careless

I’m not often flabbergasted, but this was an incomprehensible move… so many alternative routes to achieving the same (ahem) intent *without* retrospectively butchering people’s sites

the message here is basically 'don't use new platform features, even if they're small progressive enhancements, until they're sufficiently widespread that even we wouldn't dare break them' which i'm not sure is a good outcome for anyone, including them
