Calling Polish game devs! 🇵🇱 As more of us arrive here on Bluesky it would be great to re-create the network we've had. Here's a Polish Game Dev starter pack to make it easier. Please let me know if I should add you or someone, and consider reposting for reach! #StarterPack #GameDev #PolskiGamedev

We have a pretty cool concept for an incredibly easy to get into strategy game. But it is so ugly now that nobody would want to look at the screenshots :) so we're just hanging out, checking out the community until we're ready to share.

Done & done! Fantastic to see you here, Grzegorz. BTW. @gwatroba.com is the 100th account on the list, which means the Starter Pack is now 2/3 full. Soon, we'll need to start thinking about a Booster Pack!

Hello and thank you! I'm planning to have a demo ready early next year but you know how estimates work on personal projects like that 🐸

Totally 💯😁 I would love to see more Polish Game Devs joining Bluesky. I'm also planning to leave the UK for Poland in 2025, but it requires hardwork to make it happen as I manage to get my Polish Citizenship and Passport that took me 2 years process altogether 😎

Zrobiłem to 3 dni temu ;-) Blogowanie o grach to też ważna częśc naszej banieczki. A przy okazji - serdeczna prośba: dodasz link do Bsky do stopki bloga?

Of course it counts, and the pack is all about integrating the community! Hungry Horrors looks great, btw. What a mix of cosy and gruesome 😬

It was kinda hard to to tell and I never heard about you folks! Thanks for the clarification. And you're quite a successful studio judging by the number of users sucscribing to your Discord. Wow!

Well, this strongly depends on the source. There's this yearly report that's a joint-effort of IDGP and ARP, and they say it's over 400, but that's based on submissions and it doesn't take into account that many of the studios that made their list over the years already shut down.

Even more studios are shutting down now, so I wouldn't say it's still over 400, if that ever was the case, but I wager it's still over 300. And yes, of course I'm counting solo devs :) I am one! Adding you now! I had no idea you were Polish / in Poland.

I think I have found this report, it seems to focus on people working in the "game industry" somewhat formally. A bit like a cooking report counting only restaurants, not home cooks or cool cooking bloggers to follow :)

Railbound is something very special. I absolutely adore the presentation there. The puzzles become challenging quite fast (especially that I always try to complete all extra levels), but the cozy atmosphere makes the game relaxing anyway. Such a beauty!
