Time is criminally underrated (well, not by critics, but it’s certainly under-watched). Best British drama this decade imo. Sad this is likely the final series, but it’s probably a good thing for my emotional well being. as.ft.com/r/5d5e74e1-1...

I've just watched the first two episodes of S2 (not seen S1 yet) and it's such exceptional writing, very much looking forward to finishing it and then watching the other two series.

Yep, from just the two episodes I've seen it's tough in parts and with several layers to it, making it thought-provoking. Got some ideas as to how S2 might go in final episode so am interested to find out how they bring it to a close.

I chatted about this with a school friend who is Managing Chaplain at a prison in Stockton-on-Tees. She said it was a phenomenal portrayal of the prison system and extremely honest and accurate...which was really sad to hear. Very moving and disturbing piece of TV. Great performances.

Oh wow, I read an interview with McGovern where he said it was probably the last. That would tie in to the ending of the latest. 🤞🏻

Ahh okay. He was with my friends' mum at the asylum charity she works at recently and said he was doing some research for it. Who knows I suppose

He may well have been playing coy for the interviewer. As I say, that theme would tie into the final scene of the latest series so I remain hopeful. Thanks!
