Next week is our rollout of my @vite.dev -powered framework (only in dev mode for now). It's been a year of hard work, from myself and the team. We're so excited to share the results here. Preliminary results showed >50% speed up in cold start, and upwards of 90% in hot start. The future is vite

We designed a staggered release: first dev mode, with the new architecture and then the prod build, with the removal of webpack. It's been a tough release, with many side effects we didn't plan. Most of them had nothing to do with vite, but with legacy components and such.

The biggest change we had to work around was easily a new Layout component to switch between apps. ( We have a sort of Frankenstein website, with many sub-projects running side by side. The router handles all the magic of SPA navigation)
