I don’t consider myself any kind of AI skeptic in absolute terms, but I’m certainly more skeptical than the “AGI in 2027, 30 percent growth in 2030” crowd.

Yeah. It’s crazy that some people consider “this only seems as important as electricity, not 100 times more important than electricity” to be a skeptical view.

I am probably more skeptical than that but even so its crazy. Also there is another important lane here that is skeptical of AI dominance irrespective of technical capabilities. Eg we may not have AI judges even if AI could do many of the tasks of judging.
