macOS Redwood é meu voto. Mas macOS Pacific seria um ótimo nome também.

The invite mentions "on the horizon" so I'm leaning towards Skyline.

However, “Mammoth” carries connotations of extinction, which Apple wouldn’t want.

I like “Tiburon” the most. “Miramar” looks and sounds nice, but it’s too close to “Miramax”, and “Farallon”, while cool, also reminds me of Jimmy Fallon. I’d heard rumours of MacOS Mammoth a couple of OSes ago.

They are switching to year-based versioning, so it might be macOS 26.

macOS Nowhere because that's where it's going. I hate the modern macOS, it's like an iPadOS for settings and Ui but without touchscreen. I miss the old look with the dock and aqua.

I’d pay actual money for macOS 16 Wintry Tiger, looking just like Snow Leopard did, but with retina assets.

Miramar has a nice ring to it… I’ll throw my vote behind that one.

Part of me wants them to name it “macOS Weed” so I can watch the chaos. 😈

While I'm hoping for Mammoth or Redwood, this may be a good time for them to move from natural landmarks to cities and towns -- and honor specific places along the way. "macOS Pacific Palisades" would be a good start there.

Can't wait to see what apple's crack marketing team is up to NeXT! (A little macOS humor for you fellow nerds. For those who don't get it: Apple acquired Steve Jobs' company "NeXT" and based macOS X and beyond on NeXT software.)

Redwood is nice but I think too similar to Redmond (Microsoft headquarters). Mammoth for me. Even better if it was a “mammoth upgrade”. 😉
