Now that Taylor Waddell has earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, he is rapidly working toward his doctorate in the field of BART-themed Halloween costume studies. We are ready to bestow a diploma on this postdoc, posthaste.

We have seen photos Waddell's previous Halloween BART fare gate costume floating around on social media since he debuted it in 2024. Then we ran into him at BART Prom earlier this year and heard he was toying with the idea of turning our new fare gates into a costume this Halloween!
