GALLEGO: Would you say as a former auditor you pride yourself on catching waste? DENNIS: Yes G: Let's do a test. Is $600m on a ballroom, half paid by taxpayers, is a good fiscal decision? D: Oh, I'm not going to get involved in what the WH is doing G: As HUD CFO, this is literally the job

Make him answer. So what if he lies and says he’s unfamiliar? Give him the fact, ask if it’s appropriate. I get tired of the statements from the questioners. Witnesses blow it off. Keep at them like Ossoff does.

In 47’s admin, the ONLY characteristic needed is kowtowing to DJT in all things, at all times and in all places. And they get all uppity and indignant whenever anyone asks about or expects them to have position-related expertise, experience, or even a smattering of personal integrity.

The “yes or no” answer thing is tired and not effective. The nominees NEVER answer and ALWAYS obfuscate. The routine is predictable and all it does is emphasize the lack of Dem power. You (dems) need a fresh strategy. You need to be more clever.

I just hope people can tell a shit sandwich from a baloney sandwich next election. Most of our options are not going to equally palatable to all, but they want us to eat shit and die.

Elections have consequences. People have been fucking around with their vote for 30+ years and here we are. Mutherfuckers need to buckle down and be ready to grind like the Republicans did. Looking for easy answers is what got us hear in the first place. Where is our heritage foundation?

Republicans spent years taking over school boards, state legislatures, courts, churches, courthouses, doghouses, outhouses... They voted in every election. They accepted partial victories. They shrugged off losses and protected compromise candidates. They were ready. What do we do? We eat our own.

While I do enjoy seeing these idiots verbally brutalized and embarrassed, I think I’m ready to see something a bit more visceral and prison-y.

The absence of proper accountability is stark. The avoidance of legitimate questions that go to the heart of upholding democratic values and the plain truth are hard to watch. Honestly and integrity are in short measure amongst politicians and the ultra wealthy.

Republicans want to run our U.S. government & control taxpayer funds on the bases they: 1. Don't know about anything 2. Don't want to discuss anything 3. Never pay attention to anything 4. Don't understand anything 5. Are clearly unbelievable Who else would hire such idiots - or liars? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

Is this Irving Dennis for real? He’s using the Mike Johnson “I’ve never heard that so I can’t comment on it” ..is pissing money away a good use of taxpayers money? ..I’m sorry I don’t know what you mean… CONFIRMED!!!! A CLASSIC TRUMP FUCKWIT CUCK MORON PIECE OF SHIT LOW IQ OMFG AMERICA!!.🤯🤯🤯🤯

"I'm not familiar with what you're referring to." It doesn't matter. If you're an auditor, you don't have to know the specifics about the project on which money is spent, except for if it was the intended purpose of the money. Hint: a gilded statue or a ballroom waste of taxpayer money.

It’s risky getting involved with what Trump decides. Like a real career bummer thing to disagree. As a male we must have Testosterone to show Donald that lying is our only concern. Now America?? Can you survive until November, let alone 2028. Like before you get bomb dropped on N.Y?🫣🙄🇦🇺👁️

Not one of these people are fit to serve. They won’t answer a simple question for fear their god trump will strike them down. What has happened to this country? Where did they find these losers? Why does the senate keep confirming them? Unfit. Unqualified. Weak. Pathetic.

Over and over every MAGAt appearing at hearings repeats 'I don't know, I'm not going to answer, I haven't read about it or seen it' how does this majthem qualified for any government job? Oh wait, ass kissing 101.

I find it endlessly frustrating & infuriating that people like @gallego.senate.gov simply ignore it when Trump officials don't answer their questions, claiming they have no idea what he's referring to. How about telling them: "IT'S YOUR GODDAMN JOB TO KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT." and end it there.

America, which claims to be THE Superpower in the world, is actually being run by THE most cowardly Administration in its History. Its “Leader” is not only a malignant narcissist and a felon, but he’s also a major Coward whose lackeys are, for some reason, scared to disobey! A Cult of Cowards.

since when do the mango mofo’s regime sycophants do their job? their actual REAL job??? “G: Let's do a test. Is $600m on a ballroom, half paid by taxpayers, is a good fiscal decision? D: Oh, I'm not going to get involved in what the WH is doing G: As HUD CFO, this is literally the job”

Answer the question you MF or resign we have had it w/ you toadies I'll answer for you - with SNAP taken from WAY too many families & far far too many families & children NOW without health insurance IN THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD - the answer is NO $600M on a ballroom is NOT a solid spend

He didn't say he wants to do the job. He just wants to have the title and the opportunities for grift, etc., that go with the title. And the first rule of getting the title is never offend the big cheese chip.

When one of these dumbfucks says "Oh I'm not going to talk about <a thing that is unequivocally part of the job they were illegitimately put in>" their resignation needs to be received on the spot. Have one printed up, ready for them to sign. "If you aren't prepared to do the job, then quit."

I'm sure Dennis thought Gallego was asking theoretically. Everyone in the trump regime's primary job is to do whatever trump says or do nothing at all. They have no qualifications to do anything more.

No one in the know Just those who will never say, no Knowing Stupidity is evil’s air And Evil is in the lead I would like to know When did intelligence become this irrelevant?

Why is it that so many of these nominees can’t speak about what the White House is doing; can’t answer questions about conversations they had; can’t seem to remember where Trump spent money; can’t answer a basic yes or no question. The hearing is a job interview. He totally blew it.

It’s so bizarre how the country just accepts the Trump family corruption. This Senate dog and pony show, doesn’t stop any of the theft, and everything just keep going on afterwards.

This ballroom shit is insane. Trump is fucking gone in two years. Then We will have President Harris. The construction jobs associated with the construction will be good ones, and we need that in this economy. Give President Harris the ballroom she deserves.

I appreciate the tactic of telling these cabinet members that they're lying or wrong, but in a moment like this Gallego and others should be saying "you're stating you have one policy for the American people and another for the president. The president is a servant of the people." Just hammer it.

I’m all for holding the Trump admin accountable, but how are questions about the WH ballroom relevant to the CFO of the Department of Housing and Urban Development? Surely there are questions related to HUD worth asking or others to whom those very legitimate ballroom ?’s would be better directed.

1. Trump just signed a landmark nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia, paving the way for the Saudis to enrich their own uranium. Meanwhile, Trump's top foreign policy advisor, Jared Kushner, is being paid tens of millions of dollars anually by the Saudis That fact was IGNORED in almost all the coverage

He doesn't know what you're referring to? Does he even work? Or does he just come in and cut some chit and leaves. They've fired everybody, so who would tell you different?
