Fox correspondent from Trump's empty fair: "The heat is certainly keeping the crowds at bay"

Trump will say the heat kept attendance low and there's never been a more highly attended event in DC. And he'll say them in the same sentence.

Here’s the thing, this should be called the fair of tears. If you’re on the most wanted list, boy do I know a great hiding spot. Just broke out of prison? Looks like a safe space for you too. Do you hate yourself? Maybe you’re a sadist? Boy do I have a place for you 🙄

there have to be flights from your location no? Surely your boss will give you time off work. And the newborn baby whose arrival is imminent would never demand your presence over abstaining from such delicacies

Hardly. The unbelievably poorly organized and disgraceful “fair” is the reason, since all they have are crap acts, crap food, and crap state “booths”.

"The [ rain | heat | oppressive military presence | odious taint of Donald Trump's name | disgusting reek of corruption | cheap & ridiculous staging | rank exploitation of American history for Trump's gain at our expense ] is certainly keeping the crowds at bay."

It wasn’t the heat that kept the crowds away. It was the completely lame nature of the fair itself. But then, it was never meant to be anything other than an opportunity to grift more money from the government. That is all Trump does. BECAUSE HE’S A CONMAN!

Here’s the facts, fair is going well. People having fun. F-22 the finest jet in the world. At this moment is the jet is doing acrobatics over the capital of the United States of America. Happy birthday America!

So how many days now has this thing been a ghost town? Actually surprised that more cultists haven’t shown up to support their boy. Kudos to Fox News for keepin’ it real and showing the country what a colossal flop the Rump Frye Fest has been!

Ha ha ha ha ha. I remember the humidity-enhanced heat of the summer I spent in Washington, D.C. working on Capitol Hill, and that was nowhere near 100 degrees. Most of the time, Trump and his minions don't give much thought to how to care for the people in the crowds they try to round up.

So I'm not surprised that there are no misting stations or cooling centers, with chairs or benches under shade. The same way I wasn't surprised when buses failed to show up to return people to people to distant parking lots after Trump's Omaha rally just before the 2020 election: archive.ph/oqnMU

Here, of course, the question wasn't how to care for actual crowds--it was their failure to consider WHY people might want to attend such a production--the Fox coverage only serves to excuse the next-to-total absence of people.

A huge metal object crashing down from the main stage roof narrowly missing performers on stage might have something to do with it. Those poor kids. I am still shaking from seeing that clip.
