That is too cynical for me—it doesn't even pass as a joke! I am German, and I was only able to attend university thanks to an excellent and very affordable education system. In the USA, I probably would have ended up in the gutter! Looks like that's the goal of these very rich and stupid monsters!

This has been so obvious for at least 5 years & still.... almost no one knows what the GOP is up to. Because it's not being reported. Vouchers aren't just vouchers. They're a path to the demise of public schools so that education isn't available to anyone except the wealthy.

Basically they want the educated accessories to only those that are in the “club.” I’ve said it for years. The GOP wants to keep people hyper religious and uneducated because those two groups are easily manipulated and controlled.

The dumping down of America helps people like Trump. Generations go by quickly. That’s why we can never forget how a career criminal like Trump actually got elected. And we need to teach our children and have them pass that down. That is if we’re on this planet long enough.😳

Wow! I had never thought of it. Most public, and some private colleges were tuition free through the 1960’s. The cost of a graduate education now is a wall.

The current U.S. administration is undermining institutionalized oversight mechanisms, politicizing the civil service and regulatory agencies, and intimidating the judiciary, while launching attacks on the press, the scientific community, civil liberties, and critical voices.

The regime’s assaults to higher education funding and access are dire - reading this made me feel physically ill and heartsick.

Make higher education unaffordable for anyone but the wealthy, which keeps everyone else in lower paying jobs. Also make sure women keep having babies (future workers) by restricting birth control and abortions.

My son, who is now done very well. Used Pell grants to help cover costs for college. Taking this and other assistance away is wrong - period.
