I got an ad for a ring that was on sale for $18, but when I clicked on it it was listed on the website for $31. I emailed them and said hey, this ad gave me the wrong price (hoping they’d give it to me for the price I originally saw it in their ad for), but they just said oops the ad is wrong! 🤨🥸💀

I hope they enjoy not selling the ring. That’s quite a price difference. But if you were in the shop I worked at and I confirmed the lower price was the mistake, that’s what you’d get. I have that sort of flexibility on occasion.

Well see now that’s exactly the question, because the ring is $45 originally, so it is somewhat tempting to buy it at $31, but now I’m miffed so I am not gonna buy it on principle! Plus after shipping and taxes the ring becomes $40 anyway!!

I wouldn’t buy it on principle at this point. They’re just screwing with the numbers. Should you ever be in my neck of the woods I will sell you rings without messing with your head.
