So here's a question. How many Elite Dangerous VR players are still playing? And what HMD are you using? Because, I'll be honest... I'm frikkin struggling. I used to play in VR exclusively, but I just tried to take my Caspian out of my fleet carrier and the whole thing locked up horribly. 0/10

I Currently use a Quest 3, But started with the original Rift and upgraded to the vive. depends on what im doing. Ship combat and exploration I will use VR, anything involving Cargo i dont Use VR

Don't play as much in VR as I used to, mostly because I tend to have a stream up while playing these days. Currently using a Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop over wireless. Hopefully replacing with the Steam Frame if it ever comes out.

I played on Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop until recently. A few months ago I started having issues, not with Elite, but with VD crashing fairly frequently for some reason. Since then I moved to Mac / GeForce Now anyway, so VR is no longer really an option. But I really do want to get back into it.

When I first started playing ED, I played exclusively in VR using an OG Oculus Rift. I now use a Quest 3 via Steam VR, and rarely have any problems. However, I usually play in pancake mode nowadays so I'm not completely cut off from the world (also, on-foot 😢). VR is great for SRV racing, though!

I used to play with a gtx1080 and htc vive. Game was brilliant. Just tried with rtx2080 super and meta quest 2 and it was a horror show. Crashed 3 times, horrible frame rates on the carrier when I went to auto launch. I don't know where the problem is. Might be the meta stack.

VR everyday o7 Somnium VR1 and loving it. When I think back to how fuzzy the coriolis was in comparison, it's hard to think it's the same game. I've also had two gfx card updates since 2016, so that helps.

Vive Pro 2, started with a Vive Pro. Although I wouldn't contemplate putting it on today, what with the insane temperatures in the local area, so just pancake mode at the mo!
