lavishly commission like 5000 high end horror artists, furry pornographers, mecha nerds, indie cartoonists and every other artist with wildly different styles and repertoires from my own to draw some little redwall ass shrews just to see how they'd do it. i think it'd be fun for everyone involved.

THE WIZARD IS BACK! You have been cursed with a lot of money! You are going to become not just permanently brain damaged, but SUPER evil, incapable of doing good, if you use the money for anything that isn't ridiculous. To break the curse, you must spend it on something ridiculous. What say you?

I often give minimal stylistic guidelines on commissions I purchase specifically because I love seeing the artist's own creative vision shine with a character or scene. This would be amazing lol

oh this is lovely. i love the mothwing robe. i feel like a Hyalophora moth would work especially well with their crimson and gray color scheme

Back in high school I used to have a similar idea, except the prompt would be "make me a dot" No further notes, any interpretation further would be up to the individual artist

extremely grateful for all the shrew art today. also know that i hoard literally every physical and digital scrap of gift art i ever get forever

i've been meaning to make exactly that for over a year now, in addition to a few zines of my own critter monk art, but finding the time and energy to put it together and figure out all the logistics hasn't been easy. one day...

Becoming the Evan Dahm of little shrew guys instead of goblins and inspiring a yearly shrew art event that immediately gets out of control

Which would be appropriate since my whole shrew fascination was the result of something I randomly drew for goblin week 7 years ago

ngl I was hoping the post would inspire one or two bits of fan shrew art but this was a smashing success. scrabbly paws and quivering whiskers as far as the beady little eye can see

For decades, the sack of flour has been a go-to practice subject for animators. I propose that the standard for all other artists be a shrew in a robe.

Reminds me of the episode of the stop motion wind in the willows show where Mole eats a bad mushroom and spends the whole episode horribly thrashing and moaning in bed

I KNEW IT You are the single most Redwall-pilled artist I've ever seen but I didn't want to ask if because that would surely be presumptuous of me and what if you just said "What's Redwall" and I would just look weird Anyway thank you and I agree

I never set out to do redwall-adjacent art initially, just sort of fell ass backwards into in over the last couple years BUT I was super into the books as a kid so maybe it was inevitable
