we're testing a new beta version of the Notifications tab! it has new tabs to help you notice priority notifications, and it uses new grouping logic to reduce noise (e.g. when one person likes a bunch of your posts). disclaimer: it's a beta, not a final version. send us your feedback! :)

Quick question: I'm seeing the changes on the web version, but not on my iPhone. Am I missing something you said?

make sure you're on the newest version, and then try force quitting and reopening the app

I like it!

First impression: It really *feels* like I don't get a sense of things at a glance like I could before... too soon to say if that's less info density or visual differentiation, or I just have to get used to it.

Density is definitely worse. For example, shifting the "ago" below (from inline to the side) adds a ton of useless whitespace If you know that detail is unimportant enough to be worth fading, why give it its own line?

thanks! i'd love to know how it feels after using it for a day

++ same, i feel like i like the filters but would prefer the old compact view?

I would prefer a 'People I Don't Follow' tab to make it easier for me to choose whether or not to follow people who've engaged with my posts.

For some reason, beta features haven’t been showing up on my iPhone for a while even after uninstalling and reinstalling.. it works on my iPad/Mac/web tho (same account)

Do you have any kind of DNS or ad blocking enabled? Iirc some of these incorrectly flag and block beta features on Bluesky

I have beta features enabled but it says there aren't any new beta features atm my notifications tab is just All and Mentions

is it web only?

it's on mobile too. make sure you have the newest version of the mobile app, and try force-quitting and reopening the app
