I'm not sure he'd get the emotional impact without the lore. (We still haven't watched, as we aren't up late on school nights and he has a zoom meeting this evening. But I know it'll hit him harder having had the lore and he enjoyed the movies.)

i just sandbagged myself watching it just now. i cried so much I had to go wipe the phone free of all my saltcrust tears.

I admit I've already seen the dance itself on socials. It was beautiful. (And I had Mr. B watch STLD earlier because he was in the dark about her dance last week.)
