Imagine if, four years after invading Iraq, we controlled only 20% of it and had suffered 1.3 million casualties. Would anyone call that “winning”? Of course not. But when it’s Russia, we’re supposed to believe Putin holds all the cards.

Trump has destroyed the Western Alliance, the strongest military & economic bloc in the world capable of stopping Putin’s aggression in Europe & Xi’s global ambitions, doing immensely more damage to America than the Rosenbergs & deserves their same fate.

Also Russia suffered almost all of those casualties after the full-scale invasion of 2022, for which they occupied only 12% of Ukraine.

I have been to Russia. One trip will show you the true story. The only Russians who have been any good at war were the Cossacks ( AKA- as the Ukrainians). and they were smart enough not to start this 💩show.🤣💙🔥

There many factors, mainly boiling down to Europe not wanting to be full on at war with Russia - which is likely to become a World War. We are currently pretending that it is still a localised war in Ukraine despite the help that has been given to Ukraine. Europe might need to bite the bullet...

Europe has been supplying Ukraine with lots of stuff & training their forces also. There has been a lot of involvement, just not official armies from any NATO state on Ukrainian soil so far. In a sense it's weird to claim that is the line that puts us at war with Russia alongside Ukraine. 🤷‍♂️

I thought I recall that a few months ago, the US and Ukraine agreed to a military deal regarding military drones? Wouldn't that be the same as Ukraine giving drone tech to Russia to help kill Ukrainians?

The main issue is that Putin represents everything Trump values which is bullying , conquering and dominating by force without any morale constraint while Zelensky defends freedom , democracy and the right for people to exist. Russia's economy's been wrecked too, so there's that on top of everything else. If that happened in a functional-ish democracy like ours, the party in charge would've been thrown out of office. All 3 branches (as much as possible) OUT. With the caveat that the Supreme Court would need openings.

Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born on 7 October 1952, President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. There are reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes, (i) for having committed the acts directly, jointly with others and/or through others (article 25(3)(a) of the Rome Statute), and (ii) for his failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission, and who were under his effective authority and control, pursuant to superior responsibility (article 28(b) of the Rome Statute). Ms Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, born on 25 October 1984, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. Even if this figure is true. I have my doubts but so what. There is something basic here that is not understood. The Russians view this war as 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹. In the last existential war they had 26 to 27 million casualties.
