Imagine being president of the United States, yet so easily triggered. It’s gotta be miserable for him. He always feels like a failure even when he won’t the presidency. His dad did a number on him. He’s still a little boy. It would be heartbreaking if he wasn’t damaging the country

He's never been able to handle being second to Fred Jr in Daddy's eyes and everything that went wrong with Fred Jr not following along with daddy, Donny was blamed for and told he wasn't worthy of the name Trump. Everything revolves around proving daddy wrong. Every. Damn. Thing.

Finally. Someone who gets it. His type of psycopathy is a combination of mental and environmental influences. His parents raised him in dysfunction and instilled in him psychopathic levels of insecurities. He needs help but has never sought it because he was taught that needing help means he's weak.

"He always feels like a failure even when he won’t the presidency." To quote Mary Trump's book: "Too much and never enough".

I think he LIKES being MISERABLE, just like he LIKES playing the VICTIM! On some level Trump has to KNOW he has MENTAL ISSUES and he could've sought HELP to overcome them LONG AGO IF he wanted to!

I think so too, because from what I've read he was ALWAYS a problem child, getting into trouble which is why is father sent him to Military school which DID NOTHING GOOD for him! All he learned there was how to MANIPULATE the system!

He's the best at failing. A lot of people are saying that no one's better at it than him. Big strong men come up to him with tears in their eyes and say, "Sir, you're the absolute best at failing, I've never seen someone fail as much as you."

True. It probably is both. His parents were pretty creepy-looking, and his dad at least was a racist POS. I just mostly don't want anyone to excuse his behavior by blaming other people (like HE always blames other people for everything.)

There's an argument to be made that certain people are born with a certain predisposition towards certain immoral acts, but I'm not overly fond of this as a blanket reason as it removes his agency from the equation, and surmises that he's just being marionetted through life by unseen forces.

Yes, I can see that. I don't believe unseen forces marionetted him--I believe in free will and that people make a conscious choice to do good or evil. It's possible better upbringing could have helped him resist his malignant narcissist instincts.

Daddy never gave Donny the time of day. The deep worthlessness can't be repaired. The emotional development never comes. The loud raging ego hides the truth. Trump is a weak 12 yr old little boy. Stunted. Dysfunctional.

Fred Jr was the anointed one. He was the only one of the 3 Trump boys who had chiseled good looks. Fred Sr wanted to mold him into the true heir of the Trump biz. But Fred Jr wanted to be his own man. So Fred Sr turned to the weak-chinned dipshit & drilled into him that he was never truly worthy.

I know some damaged people. They don’t go around thinking they’re Napoleon and trying to destroy everything they touch. Trump is inherently evil.

I try to imagine him as a child <18 months. It’s a place where I can have compassion & love for him as a human. He was a child without being held, & this is the result. So I send energy to that part of his life in the hope that it may alter something now. That might make sense to other peacemakers.

Wrong Adam. There is nothing heart breaking about this evil monster America elected twice. He’s never worked a hard day.Has ripped off many because he could. zero redeeming qualities. Is cruel for sport. If Hitler’s father did a number on him, would that make him a more empathetic figure? Think about it!

could.zerocould.zero

He's a fucking bully, who won't take responsibility for anything. He lies, he cheats, he hurts people, he only cares about #1. He has never said he's sorry about anything. And he doesn't give a shit, that probably hurts the most.

Nothing about Trump’s life is “heartbreaking” in my eyes. He’s a miserable cur. He’s a lousy person. Lots of people have terrible fathers, yet many have the courage to stand up to them and not become like them. Donald did not have the courage or strength to do that. He was just too greedy.

He’s a psychopath Adam! He hurts people and he doesn’t turn a hair. He should feel like a failure because he’s the biggest loser on the planet, he mistakes talent for simply sliding out a rich vagina and failing up his whole life. Plenty of people have cruel parents but aren’t evil!

NO. Millions and millions of people have had very harsh childhoods and survived - and for many - thrived to become good and solid citizens, parents, neighbours, colleagues a and friends. Trump is what he is because he chooses to be that person. Inadequate, incompetent, immoral, ignorant, cruel ….

I think he's way too egotistical to ever feel like a failure. I believe he's just afraid of being perceived as one. Meanwhile, he's hurt countless people -physically, mentally, financially, etc. and shown NO remorse. So I have NO sympathy. As his wife says, "I really don't care." He's vile and evil.

Nah, it’s part of who he is. Don’t let him off the hook by blaming his dad. He’s a vile vindictive misogynist racist pos. He deserves to be miserable.

The Trump's are trash with money, the gene pool is compromised. There's been some odd badly damaged progeny Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber for starters. 🍊🤡 at one point making a joke of wanting to date his daughter! Some weird shit goes on behind closed doors.

EIGHTY years...we've been living through eleven months of Trump's eightieth year. His birthday is just the CONCLUSION of his eightieth year, just like his first birthday was the conclusion of his first year. June 15, if he lasts that long, will be the first day of Trump's EIGHTY-FIRST year.

Very well said. Dr. Gabor Maté says something similar, but widens the subject: The trauma in the pasts of those who would desire the cutthroat world of politics is substantial — it is just not normal for people to ask for such attention, while claiming they can lead hundreds of millions of people.

I don’t have an ounce of compassion for this horrible, horrible man. He has caused misery for millions of Americans. Trump is a narcissistic psychopath, a liar, a thief, a rapist, a pedophile.

Honestly, how did seemingly normal people like yourself see him get caught bragging about sexually assaulting women and still tell yourself "I'm cool with this"? Trump has never once hid what a misogynistic, bigoted person he was but I guess the power was more important to you at the time.

Yes we still have a little boy in the White House who tantrums and name calls to people he doesnt like. Had hoped he would grow up but that will not happen. He will always be a spoiled brat wanting his own way even if it kills our system and someAmericans.

You’re right, they ARE acting - in lockstep with the very person who is going to cost them EVERY election this year. Even MAGA has started to disbelieve and even disgust their very savior. Let’s CANCEL Donald Trump.

His parendid a number on him. Imagine the feeling of rejection he must have felt when he was sent to military school. He was the only child they sent away. Not to any boarding school but to one that would make him obey and instill a little restraint in him. Too bad it did not last.

.. Agree: His parents REALLY f*cked him up ... And he's passing the FU along - in a major way: not just the US, but f*cking-up the entire world. Thanks Fred and Mary. ..

Yeah, but at a certain point you have to stop feeling sorry for the child and hold the adult accountable. Reasons are reasons, not excuses to be used to ignore the problem.

Trump is and always has been a very small individual. So insecure. So stupid. So pathetic. So thin-skinned. So easily triggered. Trump is a bitch. A sloppy, whiny bitch. If Trump's dad raped him, it would not excuse the raping and murder that Trump committed himself.

He was born a psychopath. Research now demonstrate people like Trump are born like this (genetics). That saying, his parents made him worse. As a 5 yr, his niece caught him throwing rocks at a baby in a bassinet.

Trump is a mass murderer who's used his position of power to instill fear and hatred in people and divide our country. He didn't do that because he's a miserable old man, he did that because he's a murderous lunatic who doesn't value human life. He doesn't deserve anything from us but contempt.

You say that as if there was cognitive though behind his actions. He’s just doing what he’s told. His mean tweets are only reporting back what people at Mar-a-Lago are telling him! Some are not even written by him. America has been hijacked by bad (foreign) players! He is a piece of work though!

My mother "did a number" on me. Moved from home at 17 after finishing HS, put myself through college and law school and became what is considered a kind and generous person. Many, many people share that story. He didn't have to stick around. He was born with a couple million trust fund. No sympathy.

You can only blame his parents for so much. Even his mother said he was an idiot. It's come out recently that trump can't even understand variables like the most simple algebra. That means he can't understand how values can change, like interest rates or loans or how economies work.

He literally can't compute except for basic math. He is an adult. He's made choices. He's literally everything that is negative in humanity rolled into one malignant, sick, twisted individual. He CHOSE this path. Craved it even. The embodiment of the 7 deadly sins.

This. He's SO ill. Not excusing monstrous behavior. He's liable for criminal activity. But every accusation is a confession & life is a mirror. He screams about boogeymen when the reality is there's one living 24/7 in his head. He's a horrible human being & somewhere deep inside he knows that.

Trump belongs ANYWHERE else than the White House. His mental decline is embarrassingly obvious. Who’s running the country? Miller, Vaught, KKK leaders incl. MAGA SCOTUS who were wined & dined by Trump night before their betrayal. Trump is busy building a bunker ballroom to hide in.

He is still the 12-year-old boy whose parents sent him away to military school because they could not handle him. It is not hard at all to imagine making that choice.

His mom said he was a disaster, his x “fell” down the stairs, his wife hates him,,, dad beat him but not enough apparently.

He's working with a Jungian shadow the size of Manhattan, and if he stops feeding it for even a second it will swallow him whole. For the time being there is no morality for him to contend with, but the abyss is calling and I'd bet he can hear it. Little boy or no, I got my popcorn ready.

I don't feel sorry for him. He has been handed every opportunity in life, has never missed a meal, or had to worry about basic survival, and all he does is look for different ways to make everybody else's lives more miserable. He's pure toxicity.

Many of us have suffered horrendous upbringings and yet don’t act like that. Watch the movie “The Apprentice” - he was groomed in many respects, but he also made choices. I grew up in NYC when he built T Tower. Back then he was seen as a clown, a cheap PT Barnum…But he’s not just damaged, he’s evil!

I agree! I'm sure you've seen -- more than once --his playacting -- grasping his fists, grimacing and moaning, "Mommy, Mommy please! I cant do it!" Now THAT is messed up! And he doesn't think it strange, nor embarrassed by it!!

His mom was a poor immigrant from Scotland and worked as a domestic. After she married Fred she worked with charities and seemed to be a kind woman who remembered where she came from. I think Cheeto got all his cruelty and ruthlessness from his Dad and G'pa. Military school taught him bullying.

When he was 2 1/2, his mother almost died from postpartum complications. She was hospitalized for months afterwards. So The Felon has abandonment issues underlying whatever other hell his father inflicted on him. He was the 4th of 5 children.

I’m willing to bet his older sibs got way more attention than the last two. Plenty of studies out there about birth order characteristics. Not that they always apply. For instance, his first born sister became a Federal Judge. Appointed by Reagan.

People typically don’t advance after they experienced success. Success for tRUMP was when his grandfather picked him over his entire family. That’s why he acts like a child to be endearing. Imagine being trapped in the role of a child even when you are in your 80s. He even shits his pants the same.

Good I hope he's half as miserable as he makes the rest of us. That poor little billionaire. Life must be so hard for him. On second thought fuck Trump. No wonder his parents hated his dumbass.

Fred Trump Sr., was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in early 1990s. As his condition worsened, family members created a setup at the Trump office where he could continue going to work daily, sorting and signing blank pieces of paper to maintain the illusion of productivity and keep him calm.

sad childhood but as an adult he is responsible for his choices. he has chosen purposefully to harm thousands of people. he has chosen to lie, cheat, steal, rape, and kill people. any group of people- in particular, “christians”-choosing him as their leader, shows exactly what the group values.

Imagine electing such a person. And trying to 3 consecutive times after knowing all about him. The Koch Brothers did a number on American voters. Putin helped.

I don’t know. I don’t have much sympathy for child perpetrators, liars, grifters,or conmen. If he weren’t DJT, anyone behaving this way in a civilized society would be incarcerated and none of us would find ourselves heartbroken.

Give an example when he didn't deserve it. You think he shouldn't be attacked for his racism? Misogyny? Raping women? Swindling charities? Fraud? Grifting? The list of his obnoxious behaviour is LONG. He has no redeeming qualities.

So, thank God we have a POTUS who is sooo smart and can be an astronaut. a doctor, a scientist, a lawyer, an economist. And he’s making things so much easier for all. 🤮🤮. Fucking skid mark.

With Trump, I believe in the bad seed theory. Trump was born a mental case. His older sister said he was always a brat and a handful when he was young.

If it was just arrested development I could feel some compassion for him, but he is sadistic sociopath who sees all of us as objects to be used, abused, dominated and humiliated. I hope he gets what he has dished out.

Part of being a human being is to progress through life, learning & improving. That often means getting past the negative things that happened to you as a child. It is perhaps the ultimate test of what kind of person you are.

May dtff suffer every single moment that he breathes ... he has ALWAYS been a malignant narcissist entitled POS vile human being who has done nothing but represent as a blight on the human experience ... when he finally nasties away, I truly hope and pray that it is a painful exit ... totally alone.

His mental disorder puts him in a constant state of anxiety. I also have a mental health condition, but am in treatment for it. I have a doctor who prescribed for it, a psychotherapist and I go to group therapy. I have great family support. His condition has no doubt gone completely untreated...
