I am calling on Donald Trump to send the requested funds to provide immediate relief for the communities that have been impacted by the flooding this week. New Mexicans have faced the loss of their homes, ancestral land, and communities.

It is the federal government’s responsibility to provide financial support in times of natural disaster. Trump needs to approve the request immediately so New Mexicans can start to rebuild.
