I'm sure she's fine with this—as if she's anything else, or takes any action to interfere in this situation, she needs to resign today. America can't have government officials who adopt one policy for their friends and family and one for strangers. She either needs to say this is fine or quit today.

You don’t need to watch Seth Meyers to see the danger here. Presidents in democracies don’t demand that critics be fired, and federal regulators don’t amplify those demands. It undermines editorial independence and chills dissent.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

"don't worry, he's just into 15-year-olds" perhaps not as exculpatory as you think Also 15-year-olds are not "barely legal." They are minors.

Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

This isn't the easiest time to be Jewish in America. But now—and for a long time—it's been significantly harder to be Muslim. Barring Jews from government was one of the Nazis' signature moves. Every American Jew has an obligation to speak out against the new Nazis trying to do the same to Muslims.

In 2008, a blogger named Curtis Yarvin called for a future president to kill foreign aid programs as part of a plan to replace democracy with dictatorship. Now 600,000 people are dead—and 14 million will die by 2030, according to the Lancet. This is the running death toll of tech fascism.

One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

Trump: - Doesn’t want to talk about prices or employment. - Is asking SCOTUS *right now* to let him stop funding SNAP so he can use hunger as a weapon. - Is still lying about trillions of dollars in tariffs. All while he builds a ballroom and remodels the White House.

Powell's press conference is more consequential than usual: 1. December rate cut may not happen 2. The FOMC is divided ("strongly differing views") 3. Powell very worried—about both inflation and unemployment. Stocks are falling, bond yields rising, as he speaks.
