No, Facebook’s web servers aren’t directly connected to the internet. They go through proxies and web app firewalls that are used to load balance traffic and filter out things like these vulnerabilities. Large web hosts like Dreamhost also posted they were protected using WAFs. Good Q, tho.

Since Facebook was originally written in PHP, and still has a load of PHP codebase in it, is it at risk with these exploits coming out left and right in the last few days?
