I did an alternate cover of Succi for Red Sea Comics' "I Summoned a Demon and She's Kind of My Type" which is currently having its Halloween KS campaign right now! 👀👁‍🗨

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

This is why I hate the “it has to be subtle!!!” Critique of queer media. The fact that we can’t just say what we are or what the character is is so reductive and constraining to so many queer writers. Don’t let cis people dictate how you show you identity. They don’t know what they’re saying.

Rarity and Applejack!! Meant to finish these a while ago (whoops), I originally drew just the Raritys but thought it'd be cute to bring AJ in and make it a companion piece! #MLP #Rarity #Applejack #ArtsyRCart
