The 100 lowest-paying US corporations spent $644B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2024. Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay. The typical worker at these companies earned $35k last year. Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $17.2M See the problem?

I keep seeing ads for Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on 60 Minutes tonight to discuss the "peace deal." Wonder if they'll update it with the news today that the ceasefire has been broken? "We taped this interview before the entire deal fell apart, but here it is anyhow..."

A nationwide backlash to AI data centers is brewing. And for good reason: while AI enriches Big Tech CEOs and props up the stock market, data centers are sucking up communities’ water and power. When the AI bubble bursts, the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag. Be warned.

It’s super alpha to get all angry about protests and post AI videos of yourself dropping feces on America because you can’t handle your emotions, oh and wearing an oxygen mask like a douche helmet because you’re a fatso

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion. The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion. Read that back. When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

A judge blocked Trump from sending Oregon's National Guard into Portland. That same judge then blocked Trump from deploying California's National Guard to Portland instead. This isn't a "left wing" judge — Trump appointed her. Says a lot about Trump's authoritarian power grab.

BREAKING: Trump has just appealed to the Supreme Court the ruling which made his tariffs illegal. If he loses this don’t let him blame the courts. The courts just interpret the laws that he breaks.

Thanks to Trump's cuts, seasonal employees at Yosemite worked for as long as six weeks without pay. The National Park Service is one of our most popular government agencies. It's being gutted to fund enormously unpopular tax cuts for the super-rich.

Did you know: Gislane Maxwell was transferred to a nice minimum security prison after talking with trumps lawyer. A sex trafficker, was transferred to a nicer place by Donald Trump. Wonder why? Also looks like GOP is the pedo defenders.

The father of Parkland shooting victim Joaquin Oliver approached me to help them remember their son. Here’s his dad Manny explaining why. His son would be 25 today. It’s his birthday.

Last year, the DOJ brought charges against the CEO of Fat Brands for a range of financial crimes totaling $47 million. During the 2024 election cycle, the CEO donated nearly $20k to Trump and Republicans. Today, the DOJ dropped the case against him. Funny how that works.

Tillis, who opposed the big ugly bill that knocka upwards of 650,000 North Carolinians off healthcare, and like-minded Republicans arguably have more in common with Cooper, who strenuously lobbied against the bill. Unlike MAGA toadies, Cooper has also been a strong advocate for Ukraine

Cooper can lay claim to being the sensible, grounded, pro-democracy candidate. Whatley, a 2020 election denier, will not be able to separate himself from MAGA extremism; the hugely unpopular big, ugly bill; or Trump’s serial scandals—including Epstein open.substack.com/pub/contrari...

First he chopped down Jackie’s trees, now he’s paving over the lawn she put in place. It’s called the Rose “Garden”, not the Rose “patio”, you Hobby Lobby clearance rack reject.

If the CEO and executives stopped taking a salary, paid their employees a livable wage, with benefits, they wouldn’t have to raise prices. Because they’d still be extremely rich! TAX THE RICH. STOP CORPORATE GREED!💙💙

My buddy Michael Fanone has an idea for Rep. Mike Johnson as to where he should put the plaque honoring Jan. 6 police officers, if the Speaker won’t allow it to be hung in the Capitol.
