i’ve been thinking of what could even be said about such a tragedy. someone said it best that trans people are “born so late and die so young”. we uproot our lives and transition and live more life than anyone else ever does and society punishes us for it. we deserve better

During this game's development, itamu did something extremely kind to me and inserted a small memento to my best friend who passed away almost two years ago. If you have any interest in this game (AND YOU SHOULD), please buy extra copies for your friends if you can. itamu deserves it so, so much.

Mama's Sleeping Angels is OUT NOW!!! A 1 to 4 player Y2K dream-exploration game. Free your imaginary friends trapped trapped in a nightmare by a monster named Mama. Collect bizarre cursed items and use even freakier weapons to face the creatures in her dreams.

Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.

Replying to @transsafety.network

In light of this, Trans Safety Network strongly suggests all transgender people in England consider opting out of their healthcare data being used for research.

There's no anomaly here. People, globally, volunteer their time to powerful public goods the moment they're not actively terrified that they'll lose their home, their food, and their freedom. Which means that capitalism requires us all to live in fear, always - because it can't compete with free.

When people are comfortable with asking for things it gives off a good vibe. I like to see people have respect for their own desires and be able to use their words. no one can read minds. asking for things builds trust when you show people you can handle the word "no"

To be 100% clear on this: Emails cost them nothing. They can delete them, ignore them, forget they exist, whatever. But there is a dollar cost associated with every single customer service call. That's why most phone trees are over-automated these days. Calling messes up the C/S team goals. #itch

Currently on the phone with Visa Instead of starting with a complaint, I approached this as a Confused American Consumer who doesn't understand why they can't buy things off a website they use The call center rep immediately asked if it was about Steam/itch (cont)

Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed" If after a week they are still receiving pressure... Then they'll begin to get nervous

Dieselbrain@dieselbrain.bsky.social

we are going to need to keep up this 'yelling at payment processors' energy for more than just today Ideally, we will need to keep up this pressure over a span of a few weeks As many people as possible, each making 2-4 calls a day, for a few weeks, is going to make the biggest impact

It’s almost like actually humanizing trans people—letting us be in the room—creates real change and deescalates the culture war instead of treating as pawns to elicits support over, problems for being “too controversial”, or villains for being vocal about our issues to people who aren’t listening.

🗽LOLGOP🗽@lolgop.bsky.social

Rep Zephyr’s speech flips 13 GOPs, trans bills die in Montana Trans people have been scapegoated so effectively (among older people) that we're flooded with models of how to hate. But when people hear the love behind why we stand up for each other, we win. Bravo, @zoandbehold.bsky.social!
