Trump is so desperate to look like the guy who ended the Ukraine war that he'll settle for being the guy who announced the end of the Ukraine war, while the war continued. But the war can only end when Putin leaves Ukraine. Trump doesn't want a ceasefire. He wants a ceasefire-shaped headline.

TRUMP’S AMERICA: Adults at a high school game threatening kids with their parents’ deportation. How fucking rotten have we become? Terrorizing children isn’t patriotism. PAXIS.app helps families know their rights. Free. Help keep it that way: GoFundMe.com/PAXIS

If for no other reason, vote against every damn Republican on the ballot because of this. Because of this disgrace, this shame. What happened to Alex Pretti should never happen in America.👇

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. No one from the federal government called us on that day. No one has called us since.

The next party of the center-right will likely come from disaffected centrist Democrats. And that's *okay*. A lot of liberal former Republicans are now Democrats, too. As long as we agree on the Constitution and its protections, plenty of room for throwing elbows and fighting over what's best.

I will never again join a party. I'm too old, and my GOP divorce too traumatic, as I said here:

Maybe Tom Nichols could be a prominent member of a new and better party on the right.

Obviously this is racist and gross, but it's also shockingly historically illiterate? No one who has taken a single high school world history course would deny that Arab culture has produced incredible science and literature. This is why we need basic humanities education.

CBS deleted this post and reposted it admitting that their original one was misleading. And the misleading post from CBS was intentionally misleading, not an innocent mistake. CBS continues to lose credibility.

Don’t knock anti-Trump Republicans, whether they changed parties or not. They’ve had a level of backbone and independence I only HOPE we Dems would have if our party was taken over by a grifting huckster like Trump. They stepped up when it counted. Would we?

The powerful executives who cozied up to Trump didn't oops accidentally forget about pendulum swings. They either: 1) Like the fascism 2) Calculated it was here to stay, so going along was savvy 3) Saw no real downside, no consequences when the pendulum swung Crucial to show them 3 was a mistake

Amazing sight! Hundreds of wading birds in a pond at Merritt Island #NationalWildlifeRefuge this morning. As Chief Seattle said: "What is man without the beasts?
