I disagree with the takes that Blitz is "losing his personality for the sake of maturity" he literally wants to be better, he cant do that if he's continuously hurting his loved ones, nothing about Blitz has changed personality wise, he's just getting better at controlling his impulses

Someone on Twitter brought this up! I really hope folks didn't take Crimson Sky as a romantic duet because it was so NOT😂So true! The language barrier alone makes for a disconnect. Stolas doesn't even answer Vassago's siren calls, he's just uncertain if this is what he wants

It was so fun to have the song sung in Spanish butand I think it's extremely notable how Stolas and Vassago literally aren't even *speaking the same language*, at the time they were coming at each other not understanding where the other was at at all #hbspoilers #stolago

He closed the book on Vassago two decades ago. And yeah Blitzø is pissed at him at the end of this episode cause it looks like he agreed to a date with Vassago, but I’ll point out that Helluva Boss has never ever used a cheap misunderstanding as a plot point, and I doubt they’re starting now.

And then that beautiful bird texts Blitzø. And he looks so smitten and happy when he does it:

Then is the part I fucking love. Vassago says “are you ready?” And Stolas immediately starts to spiral, just like he has been, about how scary and huge and impractical he thinks a romantic relationship would be, akin to living on the sun! But Vassago says no, it can actually be as simple as dinner

Vassago continues: “no wife 😏. How about it Stolas?” And again, a grimace

Then Vassago says “you know, I heard somewhere that you were banished! So, no responsibilities, no duties…” and Stolas looks back at the palace and I think it’s setting in for the first time that he’s actually, really free of the Goetia.
